Candy Cain will be heading to Playa del Carmen with the Association For Wedding Professionals International this February for a three day site inspection and familiarization trip with educational seminars. Candy will be teaching three of these seminars, including the Destination Wedding Specialist Certification Course, where wedding professionals will learn all aspects of planning and executing a destination wedding.
This FAM trip will be hosted by Condo Hotels Playa del Carmen. “Condo Hotels Playa del Carmen are five luxury boutique properties, located in the premier zone of Playa del Carmen, just around the corner from 5th Avenue, within one-block radius from each other. El Taj Oceanfront is the newest addition. Be a COSTAR: Working With US-Based Wedding PlannersÂ
In one hour, Candy teaches seminar participants what they need to do in order to develop loyalty and relationships with US-Based planners, which can maximize profits and minimize problems. This seminar has been held at many wedding conferences, including Love Mexico 2010 in Riviera Maya. The learning session lasts 45 minutes, and has a 15 minute question and answer session with Candy.
 Magnetic Marketing: How to Attract Clients & Dollars
Candy designed this seminar to help people attract and close more business deals. Whether you are a travel agent, hotelier, wedding planner, photographer or are involved in any aspect of destination weddings, this seminar is for you. In 90 minutes, attendees will learn Candy’s technique that took her from $50,000 to $750,000 in sales revenue in just one year. Cost: $79
AFWPI Destination Wedding Specialist Certification
Destination weddings are on the rise. Between August 1, 2009 and July 31, 2010, Candy Cain created, planned and produced 30 destination weddings all over the world. This course has been designed by Candy and implemented by the AFWPI to certify wedding professionals in this growing niche of weddings. The course lasts four hours with a 15-minute break halfway through and addresses all aspects of a destination wedding: landing clients, contracts, networking with other vendors, working with local vendors in the destination, learning laws, how to travel, and much more. After the course, attendees will receive their Destination Wedding Professional Certificate from the AFWPI. Cost: $449 $349
